Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and of the FT Companies operations portal at app.ft-companies.com. They are an agreement between you and The Finishing Touch LLC, d/b/a FT Companies.

They do not govern the construction work itself. Scope, price, schedule, payment terms, change orders, warranty, insurance, liens, and indemnity are set by the signed contract or accepted proposal for your project. Where these terms and that contract disagree, the contract wins.

A quote we send you is an offer to perform the scope it describes at the price it states. Accepting it through the link we send records your acceptance, the date, and the terms as they stood at that moment.

A quote is valid until it is withdrawn or expires. Quantities are estimates until the work is measured; where a quote is priced per foot, the final invoice reflects the footage actually installed.

Portal accounts are issued to FT Companies personnel. If you have one, it is yours alone — do not share it, and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. What you can see and change in the portal depends on your role.

Do not attempt to access records outside your role, interfere with the service, or extract data by automated means. We may suspend an account for any of those.

We photograph work sites to document conditions before and after installation. Those records belong to FT Companies and may be used to answer questions about the condition or quality of the work, including in a dispute. We do not publish them or use them in marketing without asking you first. See our Privacy Policy for how they are stored and who can see them.

Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice. Where a payment method carries a processing cost that we pass on, that surcharge is shown as its own line rather than folded into the price of the work.

We do not collect card numbers through this website or the portal. Payment is arranged directly, and we record only that it was made.

The pages on this site describe our capabilities and service area in general terms. Nothing here is a bid, a guarantee of availability, or a representation that we are licensed, bonded, or qualified for a particular project. Ask us and we will answer for the specific job.

The website and portal are provided as they are. We do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features.

To the extent the law allows, FT Companies is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the portal. Nothing in this section limits our obligations under a signed construction contract, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, and the courts of Howard County, Indiana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. Continuing to use the site or the portal after a change means the updated terms apply.
